This Disclaimer applies to padcount.com and the PadCount service, which is a product of Padgrad Ltd (company number 17365449, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU). It supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. General information only

The content on padcount.com — including help articles, guidance, sample figures and exports — is provided for general information and convenience. It is not tailored advice for your circumstances and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

2. PadCount is software, not accounting or tax advice

PadCount captures, organises and exports your expense, revenue and VAT data. It is not accounting or tax advice and it does not submit anything to HMRC on your behalf.

  • We do not prepare, review, approve or submit tax or VAT returns.
  • We do not determine the correct VAT treatment, deductibility or categorisation of anything you enter.
  • We do not guarantee that HMRC will accept any figure, report or export produced from PadCount.
  • "HMRC-ready" means only that your data is organised and exportable in a usable format.
  • Your accountant or tax adviser remains responsible for your filings and for the treatment of every item.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

We provide software. We do not control your trade, your accountant, HMRC or any tax authority, and we cannot and do not guarantee that a return, claim or filing based on PadCount's output will be accepted, or that any figure reflects what you will ultimately owe or reclaim.

We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but we provide it "as available". You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. We may suspend, withdraw or change features, and we are not liable for interruptions, errors, or any loss caused by something beyond our reasonable control. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

5. Not financial advice

Nothing on padcount.com is financial, investment or pension advice or a financial promotion.

6. What this Disclaimer does not do

This Disclaimer does not limit or exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any statutory rights you have. Where this Disclaimer conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.
